Double - Chocolate Cocoa Mix


"This decadent hot cocoa mix is such fun to make, kids will want to help ! " - Woman's World
1/2 cup instant non fat dry mink
1/8 tsp. cornstarch
16-oz. jar with lid
1/4 cup each Wilton gold and emerald pearlized sugars 
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
White cardstock and ribbon

  • Mix milk and cornstarch. In jar, layer milk mixture, gold sugar, green sugar, cocoa and chips; seal with lid.

  • On cardstock, make "Double-Chocolate Cocoa Mix" gift tag: "Empty entire jar of mix into a large pot. Stir in 2 cups of milk and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, whisking often, over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer, whisking often, until smooth and slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes. If desired, serve garnished with whipped cream. Makes 4 servings. Enjoy! "
